Happy Holidays!

December 24, 2014 § Leave a comment

The holidays are upon us – which can often make for crazy and hectic days. I hope that you are able to spend time with loved ones and that you find a few peaceful moments to enjoy the season.

Last year at this time, I was in the Sub-Antarctic region. I will never forget spending Christmas toasting to the great explorer Shackleton at his final resting place in Grytviken, South Georgia Island. The world’s most remote church resides there, and it was a very special place to be on Christmas for me.

I missed my loved ones dearly, but was so grateful to have so much support to spend the holidays on my dream trip among friends.

Frankie is a shih tzu that is part of a very special and adorable family. I was honored to be able to photograph them for their Christmas portraits this year.

Where Am I?
